17 Review for Melaleuca’s Sol-U-Guard Botanical Disinfectant
Hello!
I have been a customer for 9 months. i absolulty love.. Sol-u-guard.. i spray it on everything. like other lysol.. sprays ..wipes.. bleach products.. bad to inhale .. just hate the smell.. burns skin and throat. I would go 100% sol-u-guard agains anything out there.
Howdy, there is a list of the length of time various virisus are killed. Where would I find out how long it takes Sol U Guard to kill the MRSA virus? And what concentration is used? Thanks.
If you don’t like the smell of the traditional Sol-U-Guard, try mixing a tsp or so of lemon blossom Sol-U-Mel into the spray bottle. Not only will it boost the cleaning power of the Sol-U-Guard (if that’s even possible), but it will make it a little more tolerable odor-wise. I love Sol-U-Guard so much that I keep a spray bottle on every level of the house. I’m thinking of putting one in every ROOM, but that might be a bit excessive.
I use it quite often. I can spray it around a room or what not and not have to run out, unlike these aerosol sprays that are over powering, that on the aerosol can it says harmful to breath in. Did you hear that aerosol, bad for the environment.
To Priscilla — The smell really is not that strong, which disappears in a short while. And one gets used to it after using it for a while. The main task is how well it disinfects, not how wonderful it smells. For the job that it does — who cares how it smells! It is safe! I have used it and it is great.
I use Sol U Guard Botanical Disinfectant to clean my waste baskets, door knobs, my daughter’s potty chair, etc. I also use it to clean my sinks.
It has a nice, clean smell!
I love it for my kitchen, bathroom, doorknobs, tooth brushes, it has so many uses, because it is so safe. But I live in an area that has an issue with ants, I tried spraying the area where ants came in, and all ants dispersed.
I love using the solugaurd for my kitchen cleaning. I use a lot of meat and like to know I’m not transferring germs…. I spray the cutting boards, scissors, knife handles and even my hands with it. I wish Melaleuca made solugaurd wipes! I have a 10 month old and I would love to have that as a handy wipe when in public, germy places
I could never figure out how I could ever get the rubber gasket (from the sink to garbage disposal) clean! Really! So, I decided to try spraying it with Sol-U-Guard, knowing it would at least be killing the germs, without poisoning my family or ruining our septic system. After spraying for several days, the gross gasket was actually getting clean and looking almost new again!! What a relief for someone who likes things clean but could NOT figure out how to tackle an item like the rubber sink gasket! Hooray for Sol-U-Guard!!
I love Sol-U-Guard. Bleach always burned my nose and I hate having it around the kids. Lysol smells terrible and plugged up my nose when I breathed it. Sol-U-Guard is wonderful. The smell is nice and doesn’t linger. Its safe around the kids and food. My house is clean without smelling like a hospital or a perfume factory.
I love this stuff!!! I feel better about my home when I know it is clean and disinfected, especially now with flu season right around the corner. Thanks Melaleuca!

Isn’t that what clear defence is for?

I used it but cannot stand the smell. I really hope it works.
I used it and really do not like the smell. I really hope it does clean germs as everyone else believes it does.
It works pretty good but the smell is awful to me…really don’t like it.
I love love this product! It smells fantastic and it’s good to know I am sanitizing without using harmful chemicals.
