A friend came to visit just after I had received my first order of Melaleuca products. One evening she spilled some red wine on her white skirt. I offered to try the Prespot which I thought would be an exellent test for the product since I had never used it before. I sprayed the wine spot that evening and washed her skirt the next morning in a hot/cold wash. Her skirt came out of the wash completely spotless and she was thrilled. I was also thrilled, as well as relieved, and love using these natural products.
I have found that if I use regular laundry detergent the Melaleuca pre-spot treatment does not work as well. That’s not a problem for me as I use and love the Melaleuca laundry detergent too. The first time I used pre-spot I completely dissolved a blood stain that had been on a white tee shirt for several weeks, regular detergent and stain sticks had no effect on it. I thought the tee shirt was history! When I found Melaleuca I tried the pre-spot and the stain dissolved right away. I’m hooked on pre-spot!
PreSpot has saved several of my almost 2 year olds outfits. She is a busy little bee and with two older brothers to keep up with, she gets dirty. I love Prespot. It has taken out blood, food, dirt and grime, and even old stains that have been through the dryer have come out. It’s amazing! I just spray enough to wet the stain, leave to soak for a few minutes (or more for a tough one), then rinse. I can usually see the stain disappear before it even gets to the laundry.
I had a blood stain that had sat all day, when I finally got home I sprayed in with the pre-spot and let it sit for a few minutes. I was a little aprehensive but I took it out of the washer and there was no sign of blood on the shirt! LOVE THIS!
I can’t be without this product. It has taken out old stains on carpet, clothing and even off furniture. I spray it on and use a cloth or a great Melaleuca toothbrush to brush the stain away. It works like a charm everytime, seriously.

This stain remover does not work. I’ve given it several chances. Each time it did nothing, and I had to treat the stain with Spray and Wash and then rewash to remove the stain. Don’t waste your points on this product!
I find for some stains the PreSpot works better if I give it a little time to work. I’ll often spray it on the garment, let it sit while I load up the washer. Sometimes even the night before, depending on the stain. The natural enzymes in the product can take a little longer to work but the results are worth it! Last summer I got a blood stain on a new white blouse – sprayed on the PresSpot and the stain literally dissolved before my eyes. Sorry to disagree but this is one of our all-time favorites – hope this comment helps!

Melaleuca’s prespot has never failed and has restored some old shirts also to new again! Take it from a single dad for 10 years plus, now I am married and my wonderful wife feels the same!
I do not feel that this stain remover works at all! I have used it several times. Tide’s stain stick cannot be beat. Sorry!
Prespot has saved many of my 2 yr olds clothing. It works wonderfully. It is an enzyme cleaner, so sometimes you need to pretreat ahead to give it time to work, but it does work very well on a lot of kinds of stains including blood, dirt, most food, etc. It also kills bees and wasps safely around the kids.
I wouldn’t be without it.

Melaleuca’s Prespot laundry Stain Remover is amazing! Out of all the great products, I have to say this one made the biggest impression on me from the beginning. My son had a white pair of shorts that I believed to be ruined after he got ketchup stains on them. It honestly looked as if he rolled around in a puddle of it. Well, I sprayed every single inch of those shorts with the prespot treatment and washed them. They came out just as white as the day we bought them. That’s all it took for me to become a Melaleuca fan.
